Winter Fun

Winter Fun!
The holidays feel long past, you’re back to work, the kids are back in school, and winter is still here. There is a little more sunlight everyday, but you can’t tell yet. Turning up the heat and hiding under the covers is tempting, and it’s great for one weekend, but you can’t hibernate all winter!
What’s a better option? Bundle up the family and get out in Boulder Creek! Try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in your own backyard – the Boulder Creek Golf Course. Or, are you more into speed, ice, and grace? Pack everyone up and head 15 minutes down Glenmore Trail to Canlan Ice Sports https://www.icesports.com/greatplains/ (you won’t hit any traffic on the way there).
If you’re more of a homebody, think about crafting a snow family in your own Boulder Creek oversized lot or making an ice sculpture with any large container and a few drops of food colouring. Speaking of drops, when you’re finished, head inside and make your own gourmet hot chocolate.
